3 miles – Olney to The Bell and Bear. (Linear – walking)
This route takes you from Olney Market Place, through Emberton Park and across the fields at the back to the pub. It’s just under 3 miles and about one hour. No stiles, one smallish hill.
24 Miles – Salcey Forest Cycle Loop via Emberton. (Circular – dirt track cycling)
Intermediate mountain bike ride. Good fitness required. Advanced riding skills necessary. The starting point of the Tour is accessible with public transport.
18 Miles – Olney – Linford Lakes – Newport Pagnell. (Circular – dirt track cyclying)
Intermediate mountain bike ride. Great for any fitness level. Advanced riding skills necessary. The starting point of the Tour is accessible with public transport. Goes past a ruined church. Very minor detour to reach the pub.

Easy mountain bike ride or walk. Great for any fitness level. Suitable for all skill levels. The starting point of the Tour is accessible with public transport. Take in various pubs on route including The Horseshoes in Lavendon and The Robin Hood in Clifton Reynes before popping in for a pint with us.
4 Miles – Turvey to The Bell and Bear. (Linear – walking)

This is a lovely walk, that takes in 5 fabulous local hostelries (you don’t have to drink in every one, remember!). Take the MK Connect service to Cold Brayfield and take the short walk into Turvey to find the Three Cranes and/or the Three Fyshes. From there follow the route back past the The Old Mill in Newton Blossomville and The Robin Hood in Clifton Reynes. Keep room of course, for the finale at our place, the Bell and Bear in Emberton.
26 Miles – Olney – Newton Blossomville – Harrold & Odell. (Circular Road Bike)
Easy road ride. Great for any fitness level. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the Tour is accessible with public transport.
15 miles Olney – Newport – Sherington (Circular – cycling)

One of my favourite off road cycling routes, starting and finishing at The Bell and Bear. Take your pick of four excellent pubs to refuel on route. If you want to convert it to a walk, get the bus to Newport Pagnell (as close to the Black Horse as you can) and follow the route back to Olney via Little Linford and Tyringham.
