We’re especially proud of our cask ale and cider offering – recognised by CAMRA with Pub of the Year 2026 (Real Ale & Real Cider) for Milton Keynes & North Bucks and Regional Pub of the Year 2026 (Real Ale & Real Cider) for Buckinghamshire, following Runner-Up for Real Ale in 2025 and the CAMRA Phoenix Award in 2025 for our revival.
Expect a regularly rotating line-up of guest ales alongside trusted favourites and local brews, all kept exactly as they should be. You can view current & upcoming ales here.
Whether it’s a pint after work, a glass of wine with friends, or a weekend round in the garden, there’s always something worth raising a glass to at The Bell & Bear.
Great Food Done Differently
The Village Kitchen & Our Visiting Food Trucks
At The Bell & Bear, food is all about variety, quality, and bringing people together. Instead of a traditional fixed kitchen, we host a rotating line-up of talented food vendors serving freshly made dishes packed with flavour.
From hand-stretched pizzas and classic fish & chips to rich curries, burgers, and global street food, there’s always something new to enjoy.
Alongside our visiting vendors, we’re also home to The Village Kitchen, serving regular Sunday lunches and special themed menus inside the pub.
Whether you’re joining us for a quick bite or making a night of it, great food is always on the menu.

What Our Guests Say

About The Bell & Bear
A Pub Built by Its Community
The Bell & Bear isn’t just a pub – it’s a story of a village that refused to lose its local.
When our doors closed in 2019, the Emberton community came together with one goal: to bring it back. What followed was an incredible effort of time, money, and determination to restore the pub as a true community space.
Today, we’re proud to be a thriving, community-owned pub at the heart of village life – welcoming locals, visitors, walkers, cyclists, families, and dogs alike.
