Our Vision
Doing Things Differently
When we reopened, we made a conscious decision to do things our own way.
Instead of a traditional pub kitchen, we created a space where variety could thrive – bringing together rotating food vendors, local flavours, and a drinks offering we’re genuinely proud of.
The result? A pub where no two visits feel quite the same.
One day it’s wood-fired pizza, the next it’s rich curries or street food classics – all paired with great drinks and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Drinks
Award-Winning Drinks, Properly Served
At the heart of The Bell & Bear is a bar we take real pride in.
We’re especially known for our real ale and cider – recognised by CAMRA with Pub of the Year 2026 for both Real Ale and Cider in Milton Keynes & North Bucks and Regional Pub of the Year 2026 for both Real Ale and Cider in Buckinghamshire, plus Regional Runner-Up 2026 for Real Ale (East Central), Runner-Up for Real Ale in 2025 and the Phoenix Award in 2025 for our revival.
Expect a regularly rotating line-up of guest ales, alongside trusted favourites and local brews – all kept exactly as they should be.
Beyond the bar, you’ll find:
- Crisp lagers and refreshing ciders
- A carefully chosen wine list
- Premium spirits and classic favourites
- Low and no-alcohol options that don’t compromise on taste

Food Trucks – Who’s Who
A Rotating Line-Up of Flavour
One of the things that makes The Bell & Bear different is our ever-changing food offering.
We work with a range of fantastic food vendors, each bringing their own style, flavour, and personality to the pub.
From wood-fired pizza and fish & chips to burgers and global street food there’s always something worth coming back for.
Born from a Love of Feeding People
The Village Kitchen
The Village Kitchen was born from a simple idea: that great food and a great local should go hand in hand.
Run by Callum and Jodie – the duo behind the much-loved We Will Wok You food truck – The Village Kitchen found its permanent home inside The Bell & Bear, bringing a more regular dining experience to the heart of our community pub.
What started as popular pop-up evenings quickly became something more. After building a loyal following through their street food nights, the community wanted more opportunities to enjoy their cooking – and The Village Kitchen was created.
From comforting Sunday lunches to themed menus and special evenings, the focus has always stayed the same: generous portions, quality ingredients, and food made to bring people together.
